i carved out a new fringe using my razor for effortless styling and a soft end result. after removing a few inches off the ends, i added some much needed layers, also using my razor for a blended, lived-in look.
i love using my razor when the hair texture permits because the end result is always gorgeous, effortless style that’s soft, but can add edge to the style as well. perfect for this beauty right here; also finding her edge in life💥
i styled using beach club balm for texture and frizz protection, used my hands and blowdryer to enhance her natural texture before circling back and adding in a few waves with a flat iron, finishing with the beach club texture spray 🌞 (one of my favorite smells fr, if you ever wonder why my hair always smells so good it’s this magic bottle🪄 )

i’ve been cutting V’s hair for many years, and over those years we’ve come a long way — from one length haircuts to subtle layers, to even more layers with face framing to long curtain bangs! So when she said she was interested in stepping into the world of ❤️🧡💛color💚💙💜 we were both so excited!!
she’s naturally a gorgeous copper and wanted to see blonde blended throughout, so using a low volume developer and patience we achieved this gorgeous peaches and cream blend 🍑✨
i’m so proud of my guests for trying something new and different. it can be nerve wracking to switch up your look/style but i promise it’s worth it — life is short, have your dream hair!❤️

One year as a small business owner!🎉

If you would have told me a year ago I would be sitting here, enjoying a dream life I manifested, surrounded by family and friends old and new, knowing success and feeling peace… I would have given you the biggest hug, probably cried and thanked you for the insight! (Although, year ago me was a very different person would’ve still had their doubts 😅)

Gratitude isn’t a big enough feeling to describe what’s been flowing through me lately. Reflecting on the past 365 days, I can honestly say I wouldn’t change a bit. (I know, shocking, considering everything ) None of this could have happened if I wasn’t uncomfortable, angry but damn sure of myself. Every single obstacle and celebration in the past year has helped me grow in ways I couldn’t imagine and enjoy true peace for maybe the first time in my adult life. That peace has flooded into every aspect of my existence and I truly cannot be grateful enough.

And my guests! Oh my wonderful, beautiful, supportive and beloved guests! I wouldn’t be here if it weren’t for every single one of you. Thank you for sticking with me, for recommending your friends, family and coworkers, for coming to see me for the first time because you want to support small business, for respecting me and my dream and for keeping me growing as we navigate what beauty can be, and should be, together ❤️
