💦 Hyperhidrosis 💦

We’re getting into the sweaty seasons, I mean Spring, Summer and Fall, in South Carolina.

Hyperhidrosis is the fancy term for excessive sweating. This lovely term affects almost 5% of the US population. Which may not seem significant, unless you are one of those affected.

✨ New Service —> PDGF ✨

So excited to announce this one!
And to be the first in the area to offer it 😎
I’ve been watching this one and studying for months. This is one of the newest in AESTHETIC regenerative medicine, however they’ve been using it in other settings for years.

PDGF is platelet derived growth factor that can be used topically or injected. My use will primarily be injection based.
When injected, it stimulates tissue regeneration. Meaning you can replace your own volume loss.
The closest thing I have for comparison I have is to PRP/PRF. And maybe a little Sculptra.

When injected under the eyes, PDGF can help with volume loss, dark circles and skin laxity (so fine lines and wrinkles).
We can also inject this in the temples, cheeks, jawline and smile lines.

So do you need PRP or PDGF injections?

Many people like the idea of injecting something that comes from their own body, which would be PRP.
With PRP, we draw your blood, spin it down, separate the platelet rich plasma and then inject it.
This is done over multiple sessions, typically 3-4 in the beginning, then routinely to maintain results.
What’s the downside?
PRP results are dependent on the patient’s health status.
The quality and quantity of your growth factors may be different at each injection session.
I still love PRP and am seeing great results, but consistency is a huge component for PDGF.

✨ PDGF ✨
Here is the magic of PDGF.
300,000 - 400,000 times more concentrated with growth factors when compared to PRP.
Consistent quantity and quality of the growth factors at each injection session.
1-2 injections, spaced at least 8-10 weeks apart.

PDGF can also be applied after microneedling, or other treatments, to reduce downtime and speed up the healing process.
