Sometimes you have to slow down. Sometimes you have to get your hands dirty. Sometimes you have to do it YOURSELF.
Today, it was me, on a Sunday, cleaning and shining my salon floors. 🧹✨
Not because I can’t afford to pay someone else to do it—but because sometimes there is something therapeutic about taking the time to care for what you’ve built with your own hands.
There’s a different level of appreciation when you clean it yourself… when you fix it yourself… when you see something that needs to be done and simply say, “I got it.”
Entrepreneurship is so much more than the name on the sign, the pretty space, the glitz, the glamour, and what people see from the outside.
It’s the bills.
It’s the long days.
It’s the decisions.
It’s the cleaning.
It’s the maintenance.
It’s showing up when nobody is watching.
And sometimes, you just need to slow down, take a breath, and do the work.
You’ll be amazed at what you can accomplish when you stop waiting on someone else and realize, “I can make this happen.”
Take care of what you have. Appreciate what you’ve built. And don’t ever be too big to do the small things.
