At last… my love has come along. 🤍
And somehow, those words have an entirely different meaning for me now.
After more than 20 years behind the chair, making the decision to step away earlier than I wanted to has been one of the hardest decisions I’ve ever had to make. So much of my heart, my identity, and my life has been poured into my clients, my craft, and everything I’ve worked so hard to build.
But right now, my medical team is advising me that it’s time to stop doing hair and listen to what my body and this little boy need from me.
This isn’t goodbye. 🤍 I’ll still be around the salon over the next few weeks, and I want every one of my clients to feel completely taken care of during this transition.
If you need help deciding which stylist at Bellezza is the best fit for you, please reach out to me. I know your hair, your formulas, your preferences, and so many of you I’ve known for years. I’m more than happy to personally help guide you to the right person. And if your stylist ever needs help with your formula, placement, or anything else, I’ll still be close by to make sure you feel comfortable and confident.
To every person who has ever sat in my chair.. thank you. Thank you for trusting me with your hair, your stories, your biggest moments, and so many chapters of your lives. Thank you for supporting me as I grew, built my business, became a wife, a mom, and now prepare to become a mom all over again.
I thought I would have a little more time before putting my shears down, and letting go sooner than I planned is incredibly emotional. But I also know that everything I’ve spent my life building will still be there when I’m ready to come back.
I love you all, and I’m so grateful that you’ve supported me through every beautiful chapter!!
But for now, this chapter belongs to me and my family. 🤍
At last… it’s time to slow down, soak it all in, and get ready to meet my little love. 🩵

“Don’t grow too big too fast.”
“Don’t overdo it with your build-out.”
Just a few of the things I heard when I was starting my business.
But here’s the thing about me… when I see something, I SEE it.
I saw Bellezza before Bellezza was what it is today. I saw the rooms full. I saw women growing. I saw careers changing. I saw a team that felt supported, challenged, loved and pushed to become the absolute best versions of themselves.
I saw a space where clients walked in and immediately felt something different.
I didn’t get a big space just to have a big space.
Every. Single. Room. Had intention.
My intention was to fill each one with the best of the best. To bring more into our salon. More opportunities. More services. More reasons for my team to grow and more ways for us to take care of every single person who trusts us enough to walk through our doors.
Was it scary? Absolutely.
Did I question myself? Of course I did.
Because when everyone around you is telling you to slow down, play it safe and maybe not dream so big… you start to wonder if they’re right.
But I truly believe some people are born with a vision because they are meant to see it through.
And I knew what I saw.
So I kept building.
Room by room.
Woman by woman.
Dream by dream.
And now I get to stand inside the very space people questioned and watch the vision I had in my head come alive right in front of me.
I didn’t build Bellezza for where I was at the time.
I built her for where I knew we were going.
And baby… we’re just getting started. ✨

The text..
One of the hardest parts about this career isn’t the long hours or standing behind the chair. It’s when someone who has become such a big part of your life moves away. Because the truth is… so many of you aren’t just clients to me.
You’re my people!!
I know your kids’ names. I know what you’re celebrating, what you’re grieving, what you’re working toward. I remember the little things because I genuinely care. That’s always been the most important part of what I do.
So when one of my loyal clients flew all the way back to New Jersey to get her hair done & had a shorter time frame than we expected, you better believe we were going to make it happen! We were racing the clock, but there was no way I was letting her leave without one more fresh hair day.
Then she sent me this text…
And if I’m being honest, I needed to read it more than she probably knows.
There are days where I leave work wondering if I’m doing enough. Days where I feel like I could’ve given more, been better, shown up differently. But this reminded me that even when I’m doubting myself, I’m still accomplishing exactly what I’ve always hoped to.
Not just beautiful hair.
Making people feel seen. Heard. Loved. More confident. Maybe even a little lighter than when they walked through my doors.

Jess, thank you for trusting me with your hair, but even more, thank you for trusting me with pieces of your life all these years. I’ll miss you more than you know!

There is something special about reaching a point in your career where success is no longer just about what you create for yourself, but what you can pour into others.
One of the greatest honors of my career has been stepping into the role of Lakmé Educator!
Education has always been close to my heart. I truly believe there is room for all of us to grow, and if I’ve been blessed with knowledge through years behind the chair, then it’s my responsibility to extend a hand to the women standing where I once stood. Watching another stylist gain confidence, master a new technique, or realize their potential is incredibly rewarding.
People often ask why I chose Lakmé, and the answer is simple. Their philosophy aligns with everything I believe in as an artist. Beautiful color should never come at the expense of healthy hair. Their commitment to innovation, hair integrity, sustainability, vegan formulas, and education makes them a brand that truly invests in both the stylist and client experience.
This journey has introduced me to some of the most talented, passionate, and inspiring people. Every class, event, and conversation reminds me how fortunate I am to be surrounded by artists who genuinely want to see one another succeed.
The best part? Everything I learn comes home with me.
Every technique, innovation, and connection allows me to bring more value to Bellezza Beauty Co. It creates a full-circle experience where my team, our guests, and our salon continue to grow together. I get to be both the student and the teacher, and I don’t think I’ll ever stop being either.

Scarlett & I wouldn’t be who we are without you! You came in & swept us off our feet & we’ve been floating through the best chapters of our lives ever since.
