Where did my passion for Holly Dolly TAN start?
Well it goes back to middle school when I experienced bullying for the color of my skin tone.
The desire for a glow runs deeper than anyone would think. I was called names like ‘ghost, Casper ’ ‘Snow White,’ and the list could go on..But some even said I was blinding because I had no pigment in my skin. Being picked on and bullied every day made me question why I didn’t tan like everyone else. That’s when I learned about self-tanners, but they often made me look orange, earning me names like ‘Oompa Loompa’ or ‘cheeto.’

Despite the bullying, I became determined to find the perfect tan. I experimented with multiple in-salon spray booths, solutions and every product on the shelf to discover the best formulas and what actually worked. This journey turned into a passion to help myself and others find that inner glow.

After my incredible journey at the Miss Ho***rs International pageant in Lake Tahoe, representing Rockford, Illinois, I was so inspired. I realized that if I could set and conquer such a huge goal by competing in that big pageant I had dreamed of for five years, then I could definitely set a goal to master the art of spray tanning.

And you know what? I did it! It’s all about having faith, consistency, hard work, and discipline. I’m so grateful for the opportunities and blessings that have come my way.

I want to help people feel their best and boost their confidence with a radiant glow. As they say, when you look good, you feel good, and you do good. So, my passion is to bring that glow into people’s lives while staying true to my why. 🌟✨
