Grow Ginger at Home in a Pot 🫚🌿

1️⃣ Pick the right piece
Choose fresh ginger with little “eyes” (buds). That’s your future sprouts.

2️⃣ Soak it first
Pop the pieces in water for 24 hours to help wake them up.

3️⃣ Plant it the easy way
Use a pot with loose, well-draining soil. Lay the ginger in with the buds facing up, then lightly cover it.

4️⃣ Keep it lightly moist
Water a little or mist the soil so it stays damp, not soggy.

5️⃣ Watch for new shoots
In a few weeks, you’ll see roots and green sprouts pushing up. That’s the magic moment.

6️⃣ Harvest time cue
When the leaves turn yellow, dry out, and the stems start to flop… your ginger is ready to dig up.

Relatable mistake: watering like it’s a thirsty tomato 😅 Ginger hates swampy soil—light moisture wins every time!
