Sunlight can be damaging to your hair and fade your color. Harsh sunrays can also remove the moisture from your hair making it dry & brittle.
Use a hat if you are planning to spend some time soaking up the rays to help minimize damage!

Nearly everyone has heard how terrible metal clasps on hair ties are. Breakage central!
Did you know traditional elastic bands without metal clasps aren't much better?!
Well, if the regular bands aren't good, what should you be using?!?
My personal favorite? Silk scrunchies! They are so gentle and never pull or rip my hair. My only complaint... they don't always hold my hair well enough if I'm pretty active such as when I am working out. For those times I use a coiled hairband like the one pictured. It weaves itself into the hair to create a firmer hold without the tangle or harsh hair tie marks that elastic ones do!

I've posted about gratitude before but I will continue to come back to it again and again because it is truly so very, very important. Gratitude has been scientifically proven to be essential to lasting happiness.
It reminds us of all the good we have in life and keeps us humble.
