Honoring Our Heroes: Providing Free Flotation Therapy for First RespondersEvery day, firefighters, police officers, EMTs, paramedics, and other first responders run toward danger to protect our communities. They witness trauma, endure physical strain, and carry the heavy weight of their duty—often without a moment to pause and recover. This GoFundMe aims to give back by offering free flotation therapy sessions (also known as sensory deprivation or float therapy) to these dedicated heroes, providing them with a powerful, drug-free tool for healing and resilience.

What is Flotation Therapy?Participants float effortlessly in a tank of warm water saturated with Epsom salts (magnesium sulfate). The environment is dark, quiet, and free from external distractions—creating a unique "zero-gravity" experience that promotes profound physical and mental restoration. Sessions typically last 60-90 minutes and require no effort beyond simply lying back and letting go.

Why First Responders Need This SupportFirst responders face unique challenges: chronic stress, hypervigilance, PTSD symptoms, anxiety, depression, sleep disturbances, and physical pain from injuries or long shifts. Flotation therapy offers evidence-based benefits.
