Good morning my chics and geeks! It's Makers Market Saturday! If you come down to see us, maybe bring a layer: it's brisk here by the water. We'll be here until 3 with artisans, music, and wood fired pizza (and the other food trucks too)!

Good morning my chics, my geeks, and all my ducklings! First things first: HAPPY PRIDE!! 🏳️‍🌈 I would have posted yesterday but the day got away from me. Let's catch up real quick, shall we?
I made and donated a lot of sample sized Pure Pour bars to New Hope Midcoast for an upcoming event. I'm super excited to be a part of this and I hope the folks who receive them enjoy their soaps!
I'll be at the Rockland Makers Market this Saturday with my usual line up, including the new Hope Soap.
And finally since it's a new month, the Hope Soap will be benefitting OUTMaine to support the LGBTQIA+ population here in the state of Maine!

I was asked recently what the soap making process for me looks like.
Sometimes it is a definite idea for a collection, that has clear concepts and requires me to look for the fragrance that fits that vibe.
And sometimes it's this, an idea that metaphorically grabbed the front of my shirt and screamed "MAKE ME!" until I did it. (Actually, two ideas. You'll see the other one if the cut looks better than the top does. 😂) Inspired by , this is Oxygen, and it smells like yuzu and pineapple.
Will it be for sale? Maybe on the website. Will I make more than one loaf. If it sells out then yes. Should I be focusing on my core collection so I have soaps for the stores?

Remember the Hope Soap? Yeah, it's debuting at the Sunday Stroll next week. 10% of all sales will be donated to Pope Memorial Humane Society this month. And trust the process on that top: it turns to a beautiful coppery green.

We’ve been busy with the new store, but we also have a full schedule of outdoor markets featuring even more local makers - and it all starts next week with the first Sunday Stroll of the season!
