Kathy Metcalf - owner/stylist - Kathy is an experienced cosmetologist and takes pride in every guest and client. She only offers the best treatment and products in her salon. She is a certified hair extension professional, colorist, stylist and make-up artist. Kathy grew up in Northern New Hampshire and has now been living in Maine for the past 20 years. She has three beautiful children and a wonderful husband that have supported her and her career in Rockland, Maine. She is dedicated in making your visit at Level 10 Salon a memorable one. The Salon is relaxing and comforting offering free scalp messages and refreshments, tea, coffee or wine. Renee Thorbjornson - stylist - Renee joined Level 10 when it was established in Rockland in 2016. She has over 30 years of experience as a hair stylist and owned her own home based salon for 22 years where she was able to stay home, raise her three beautiful children and was able to effectively develop lasting relationships through her experience as a cosmetologist. She has spent most of her life in Knox County, moving to Owls Head as a child and now residing on South Pond in Warren. Renee is know for her charismatic attitude and devotes most of her time with family and her five beautiful grandchildren. She is an outgoing people oriented hair stylist who loves all aspects of hair design, specializing in color, cutting and loves to do special occasion up-dos. She really works hard to make sure each Guests experience is positive. Michelle Benner - Stylist - Michelle has been doing hair for several years and graduated from Bernard's school of Cosmetology. She was one of the class presidents during her time there. Through her career, Michelle has worked at a few other salons but decided two years ago to take the step to grow her career and join Level 10 Salon. Her love for her work and her guests shows in her attention to detail and creativity. She loves working with color and highlights and specializes in mens haircuts. All of her guests are her priority when they sit in her chair. She loves listening to the needs and enjoys when they leave with a smile on their faces as they walk away with more confidence and feeling special. Michelle has two wonderful young boys that are the center of her world and enjoys spending her free time with them and the outdoors. Myra May - Licensed Esthetician - Myra started her skincare career 5 years ago at Aveda institute and realized that her passion was to help individuals with skincare and health. She feels she was led this industry to help bring out her client’s natural beauty and offers a healing place for her clients to come to. Her passion comes from wanting to give clients a healing touch. Struggling with her own acne and not being able to find a solution, Myra dived into learning a holistic and medical grade approach when it comes to facials and body care. She understands that every individual is coming to her with their own specific needs. That why she strives to tailor for every situation. Constantly engaged in the realm of skincare, Myra stays up to date on the newest technology, and products to offer you various facials, full-body waxing, eyelash lift and tint, and full body treatments. Korin Arvidson - Licensed Massage Therapist - A native of Maine, Korin has a passion for helping people reach their health and healing goals. Over the years, she has worked in various settings including chiropractic and in a spa environment. Using a holistic approach to her work, Korin fully attends to each client’s needs interweaving a clear presence with practiced skill. Whether it be deep tissue, relaxing stress relief, giving attention to injuries including trauma, or prenatal treatments, she can meet you where you are on your journey. Korin graduate of Downeast School of Massage and her experience includes myofascial release, deep tissue, Swedish, prenatal and neuromuscular therapy. Her touch is truly healing and releasing. Give us a call to book your time with Korin!! Sherrie Clark, R.N - Bowen therapist - Sherrie has been a registered nurse for many years. Her specialty is pediatric and adult critical care. She is a certified Bowen work practitioner specializing in holistic, alternative health care solutions helping people feel healthy, balanced and comfortable is her goal. At the peak of her nursing career she suffered a life changing injury. With God’s grace she recovered from two broken legs, many hospitalizations, nine surgeries and a wheelchair really gave her a deep sense of compassion and understanding for her client’s pain and suffering. While receiving Bowen work therapy, it helped her recover from two more surgeries, radiation and chemotherapy treatments for thyroid cancer. She was very ill and unable to swallow but the Bowen procedures she received regularly allowed her to swallow easier, relieved her pain as well as decreased the swelling. She was able to have a feeding tube removed early and no longer needed pain medication. Because of the dramatic healing experienced from the Bowen work she decided to study Bowen. She now has made a new career as a Bowen work practitioner continuing her commitment to help others “FEEL BETTER WITH BOWEN.” Her touch is truly healing. Deb Prescott, R.N. - Medical Esthetic Professional - Deb is a licensed registered nurse at Miles Memorial Hospital in Damariscotta and takes the utmost pride and compassion in her treatments. Everything she does is with care and discretion. She has lived in Maine for over twenty years and has been nursing for 13 years with a personal interest in health and nutrition. Deb prefers a conservative approach to medical aesthetics with careful consideration to client’s individual concerns of beauty both inside and out.
