Skin prep is imperative to makeup application!!!!

Being a good makeup artist consists of so many components. The MAIN on, imo, is knowing your color wheel- being able to look at a client and know their undertones.

One misconception is that chocolate skin tones should be mated with warm colors. Again, misconception. This client is a great example of that. She’s very much more cool toned than warm. Knowing that, made this makeup beautiful and the professional photos (under professional lights!! Another major key in makeup application), Chef’s Kiss! 💋
