Don’t overdo it in the back y’all! Have fun with it. Take a step back and look at what you’re working on before you just dive in. What do you see? What’s lightened already? Take inventory and work off of what’s already there, thennn spice it up!

✨ maintenance appointments! ✨
When should you have one? Depending on your preference/tone of color, but for something like Rachael’s color shown here, this was a 10 week maintenance appointment.
What did it include? A colormelt at her root to cover grey and blend old foils lines, a fresh gloss all over to neutralize any unwanted (aka brassy) tones and a haircut/treatment of course!
Olaplex treatments are always included, but are so great for the hair at these type of appointments (where we are NOT lightening) because it kicks up the ‘healing’ process she’s been practicing on her hair at home, and ensures the strength of her hair for her next round of lightening in another 8-12 weeks.
Maintaining your color is such an important and sometimes overlooked service that shouldn’t be! Ask you stylist what a maintenance appointment would look like for you and try it out before jumping into another service full of lightening. Your hair and your bank account will thank you ✨🥰
Total time = 2.5 hours (she has so much amazing hair!!)

I wasn’t going to post this bc I took this photo in THE weirdest spot (hello fire extinguisher🧯??) but this cutie & her curtain bangs are too 🔥 not to!
We’re working on growing Jordan’s hair out and strengthening the integrity of her hair after a poor color job done a while back (not be me!). She’s using Nou Nou s/c, #3 and #6 and is only getting trims for the next few months-NO COLOR.
We’ve done two trims and amped up her at home regimen and her hair is already feeling amazing after only a few months!Put in the work & products y’all! Your hair will thank you ✨✨✨

Hello cutie clients and followers alike. I wanted to touch on a topic that seems to be popular as of late. 📝
I’m sure you’ve seen or read other posts about stylists discussing the lengths of their appointments being 3-4, even 5-6 hours and I wanted to talk on this too.
I want ya to take a look at this picture for a minute. Really take it in. Pretend your a hairstylist for a moment and look for the details. 🔍
For this service I performed skinny, baby highlights (I like to call them sprinkles 😉) a root shadow to blend her natural and highlights together which provides longevity between appointments, an all over gloss to tone her sprinkles, a deep conditioning treatment, a haircut, blowout and curls.
Now,
*** How long do you think it all took? *** Keep in mind, it’s clear she has a great amount of hair!
What I’m getting at is, great hair takes time. Attention to details take time. Healthy hair coloring takes time, patience and products. ⏰🧴
My work is not about getting in as many clients as I can, it’s about providing a service specifically for y o u. No corners cut.
When booking your next service, with me or anyone else, going into it with an understanding that you’re receiving a custom piece of artwork (which requires ample time to create), will make the experience all the more enjoyable for you. I can’t seem to stop reaching for 8/73 the past few weeks! I just love the richness and sparkle it gives!
