I’ve rewritten this many times now and this time I’m going to let God lead my words.

I have never publicly shared this and some of you may know this, but most of you don’t. Today marks 1 year that I’ve made the choice to stop drinking alcohol. My initial decision was the most scariest and challenging choice I’ve made, but the leading days, weeks, months and now a year have been the most rewarding. I can’t form into words that would go along with all the emotions I feel. I am overwhelmed with gratefulness that God never left me. He was there the whole time.
I contemplated even posting for the sake of judgment or worried about what people think of me, but this isn’t about me. I feel God has asked me to share to reach the ones who feel alone right now. Silently struggling. Ashamed and feel they can’t face it. You are not alone. He is there with you. If this post speaks to only one person, then my vulnerability is worth it. If you need someone to talk to, I’m a good listener. ♥️

I love that my sobriety date will fall around Thanksgiving every year. That’s very special to me and a whole new meaning to thankful! 🤟🏽

P.S. This is the only birthday I will be celebrating from now on 😎

What is your go to brow wax of choice? I love trying out new ones!

I’ve used many different kinds of wax over the years and my favorite one thus far is azulene strip wax. It picks up the shortest hairs and goes on so smooth and easy.

My husband always asks why we do family photos every year and these pics are my why! They grow so fast. They change so much. The love is captured. I can’t tell you how many times I go back and just gaze at our family photos from previous years. It makes the stress of outfits, timing, & bribing the girls (and husband) all worth while. 🤍🤎

I’ve been pretty absent on here and I know there’s no need to apologize so I won’t. ☺️ Do you ever feel like you’re being pulled in all directions? Social media can be overwhelming or more so the feeling of needing to post. I know I’m not alone in this, especially for self employed individuals. Anyone want to be my life assistant? Just follow me around and take notes and read my mind. 16 hours a day and it pays nothing. No one? 🤔 It sounds like I need a vacation and I just came came back from one! Don’t worry, I’m good, promise! 😘
