My coworker hadn’t touched her color in almost two years and I said we haveeeee to do high lift on it since she has the most gorgeous base color!

non-ammoniated high lift 11.12 with double 40 vol in the back and crown and a new one we’re testing (a 12.1) for around her face for an extra pop of brightness. No tone or root shadow!!
Just gorgeous lift and tone and of course, intentional placement 🤍

She put her extensions back in after this so I’ll show y’all the after with those too!

This is your sign to try something like this next time you have a natural blonde base to work with!! Sometimes it’s fun to pick up something other than lightener. Save and try for next time🙌🏼

That’s not to say you can’t get a brighter or lighter end result but In this case, a subtle shift was all that is needed! And In my opinion, balayage is the easiest way to do that!! If she wanted anything lighter, I would have reached for my foils.

The blend and the dimension is built into the application so we just needed one tone all over at the bowl.

Lifted to a 7, toned back down to a 6 using 6.0 and a little 6.1 in Alchemic color. Mixed 1:2 with 5 vol.

Because this is a more opaque finish, it’s amazing for corrective toning!
