I have been a supporter of Color Of Change since the dawn of the new civil rights movement sparked by the murder of George Floyd. As a small, white-owned business, I struggle to find ways to make a difference that feels big enough to fit the scale and scope of the injustices we are fighting. But remember: we are each a small part of larger change.

I am not posting this for a pat on the back or kudos. I don’t need that. I am doing it to spur YOU to action. If you can’t protest, donate. If you can’t donate, call politicians. We can all do something. DO IT.

Loves, it’s been a long row to hoe. We are almost there. To allow me time to prepare my mental and physical spaces, we will resume services on June 10. Sadly, due to the severity of COVID-19 here in Montgomery County and adjacent jurisdictions, we will not be lifting the stay-at-home order tomorrow at 5PM. There is no definite end in sight — PG county is closed until June 1, I believe. DC until June 8. When we have a solid reopening date, we will start to reschedule. Until then, stay in touch and message me if you need to. I hope to see you all very soon.
