Over the weekend I taught a class about hair loss and hair shedding! What causes it? Out of the 5 phases of hair growth, what to expect during each phase! What happens to the hair when you prematurely end a phase and enter into another phase.

The first picture is a client who developed a yeast infection in her scalp. What caused it…..

Imagine following your stylist instructions of wrapping your hair at night, then here comes the hot flashes. The night sweats along with the hair being wrapped up caused severe irritation to her scalp!
IT WAS NOT VISIBLE to the naked eye! Her scalp looked clear and healthy!

I encourage every stylist a few times a year to offer scalp analysis to all your clients!
