Who only washes their hair 1-2x’s a week? 🙋‍♀️
Washing so infrequently is what will keep your hair looking shiny, healthy and help prevent breakage and dryness. Part of infrequent washing is learning when to clarify.

Clarifying is not ‘stripping’ everything off your hair. It’s removing building up of unrinsed shampoo’s and conditioners and silicones that some products have. Clarifying once a month helps remove that buildup and help cleanse the scalp a little more thoroughly.

Why did I become a stylist, ahem, 21 years😳😂 ago?
✨ I thought I could do all the fun colors and be creative every day, and wear cute shoes to work.

Why did I stay a stylist throughout the years?
✨I realized that being a stylist is so much more than just coloring hair. It’s the creativity, but also art, conversation, laughter, and even some tears. So it’s life!🥰

Why did I start my own business in a suite?
✨To take my career and relationship with clients to another level. ♥️ I wanted the freedom to be my own stylist, person and educator. I wanted to educate my clients on how to treat their hair the way I knew was best for them. I love being able to customize all the things for you guys.

Why do I continue to learn new things (exciting things coming this year!😜)?
✨ To never be bored, and always bring you the newest and best things. Also to show my kids that you never stop. Never stop learning and building. Never think you know it all, even after 21 years of experience. (Ok, that really seems like too many years for me😂)

So here's a secret, well, not a secret, but a lot of people don't know.

Hair is most fragile when it's wet. So those blondes that can be delicate already can actually break when you are rubbing your hair violently after your shower.

So here's what to do...
▪️ SQUEEZE out the water from your hair in the shower before you grab that towel.
▪️ Lay the towel on your head and pat dry.
▪️ You can also squeeze the hair out using your towel.

What you don't want o do is take your towel and rub back and forth. This can promote frizz when drying, and actually cause some breakage.

So be gentle!

Going brighter round the face doesn't have to be a strong bold statement. It can be soft and blendy and smooth.

So don't be afraid to ask for a money piece, we'll talk about how you want to show it off!
