SAUNA BEFORE YOU GLOW

Potential benefits:
* Helps loosen dead skin cells so your exfoliation can be more effective.
* Encourages sweating, which can help soften buildup on the skin.
* Can leave skin feeling smoother when followed by proper showering and exfoliation.
* Gives you time to fully cool down, shower, moisturize, and get your skin back to its normal state before your appointment.
* If you use the sauna as part of a pre-tan routine, it can be a nice way to make the skin-prep process feel more like a little “pre-vacation ritual.” ✨

⚠️ The key is timing

I would NOT recommend sauna the same day as your spray tan, especially afterward. Heat and heavy sweating can cause the developing solution to become uneven or streaky.

For the best results, here’s your timeline:
48 hours before: Sauna → shower → exfoliate
24 hours before: Gentle shower, moisturize if needed
Day of tan: Clean, dry skin → no lotion/oils/deodorant immediately beforehand → spray tan
After tan: Avoid sauna, hot tubs, intense workouts and excessive sweating until the tan has developed and you’ve completed your first rinse.

The sauna isn’t a substitute for proper exfoliation. The biggest payoff comes from getting all that loosened dead skin properly removed before the appointment.
