Here’s what to avoid applying near your extensions (especially at the nape and hairline):

🚫 Octocrylene
🚫 Oxybenzone
🚫 Homosalate
🚫 Octisalate
🚫 Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane

These chemical sunscreen ingredients can react with extension hair and cause unwanted discoloration — particularly in lighter shades.

Instead, choose a mineral (physical) sunscreen with:
✔️ Zinc Oxide
✔️ Titanium Dioxide

Pro tip from your extension girls 💁🏼‍♀️:
• Apply sunscreen first.
• Let it fully absorb.
• Clip hair up while applying to your neck and shoulders.
• Avoid spraying sunscreen directly over your hair.
