Not gonna lie…this batch almost broke me.
When I poured this lavender soap, I was overwhelmed and deep in my feelings (thanks, pregnancy hormones 😮💨). The batter seized again, the swirls didn’t swirl, and I was fully convinced I was failing. I cried. I spiraled. I talked real mean to myself.
Then I cut the loaf….And I love it! 💜🤍
These bars aren’t the “perfect” I was looking for, but I think that’s what makes them beautiful. They’re my reminder that not everything has to look the way we planned to still be good.
What a success this failure turned out to be 🥰❤️🔥

It’s MOOOnday! I poured a new batch of lavender soap yesterday, which decided to seize up on me this time like the rose soap did 🤦🏼♀️😅 stay tuned for the cut tomorrow! I expect we’ll be getting a batch of half and half bars 🤪 still perfectly effective, just not swirled 🤷🏼♀️
