Let's talk head lice and back to school.....

It happens. While I cannot treat head lice in my salon I am able to give you products to help with preventing it.

This leave in spray is one of my favorites especially for the littles. Unlike tea tree shampoo and conditioner that can get into their eyes and burn when washing, this stuff just sprays in and acts as a leave in conditioner all day but also repels lice at the same time.

Its quick its easy. Smells good. Gluten. Soy. Dairy and nut free. Powered with plant extracts.

Spray it on every morning as a leave in conditioner. Smells amazing but lice hate it.

💇‍♀️ important Update! Please read. I know its long but hang with me.

Bookings for color are now about two weeks out. If you need in sooner or last minute please click the join waitlist and if someone cancels I will get ahold of you to fill the spot. Otherwise you might want to schedule hair appts in advance.

Furthermore, the last 30 days I have lost about $800 in income due to no shows. This means that my cancelation policy will be getting stricter. I give everyone ONE no show per year (grace) without charging you. After that you will be charged half of your appointment total.

That being said I will no longer book people without a card on file. While I understand the frustration of booking online, I have been burnt lately by booking people and then they don't show for their appointment. Prepaid credit cards will not work for my booking system. You have to have a debit or credit card. If you would like to pay cash BEFORE booking I am more than happy to accommodate this (as I also love cash) if you want to message me we can set up a time during my working hours to get your appointment paid for and booked. YOUR CARD IS NOT CHARGED WHEN BOOKING ONLINE IT JUST SECURES PAYMENT IF THE CANCELATION POLICY IS NOT FOLLOWED. YOU CAN STILL PAY HOWEVER YOU WANT AT YOUR APPT.

When you book an appt with me that spot is reserved for YOU. I have no time to fill it if you no show me or cancel last minute. This means I also do not get paid for my time in the salon. This brings me to my other change. I am now requiring 48 hours (previous 12 hours) notice for cancelations so that I have more time to fill the spot. You are required to confirm your appts or your spot could be given to someone else and canceled.

This is a business for me. I do take pride in what I do so please respect my time by making sure you are confirming appts and following my cancelation policy. I do however realize that things happen such as sickness and I do not want you in my salon sick so please just shoot me a message, let me know and as long as you reschedule at a later date you won't be charged as long as it does not become a habit (like you are literally sick every scheduled hair appt and cancel last minute everytime because of it).

I know this is a long read and I am sorry but I do appreciate all of you who are good to me and respect my business. I am loving the fact that my business is thriving and I am booking out weeks in advance. With growth comes change and this is one of those changes in order for me to be successful.

She just needed some time to feel like herself again.....

This client wanted something easier to manage and loves her curly hair except it wasn't so curly anymore

We cut some length off that was weighing down the natural curl, added some layers after doing an olaplex chelating treatment to get rid of the build up (added weight on the hair) then did a moisture mask.

And just like that her curl was back and her hair felt a lot lighter and more manageable.

She left feeling like a new woman 🎉💇‍♀️
