HOLISTIC LIFE COACHING

We are made of story.

When someone comes into my space and lays on my table it’s as if their whole being starts talking to me. I listen to the stories clients share of course, and this is such an honor to be let onto the gold of someone’s precious life, what they have gathered and learned along the way. Often, many laughs are had. Life can be humbling and absurd and comedy is some of the best medicine.

A kind of gentle grace and humility begins to effervesce within when in a private quiet space being gently held and attended to. It becomes a safe refuge to unfurl, glimpse parts of ourselves, our story and places we have stowed things away in our bodies because at the time something was going on that was the best we could do. Stow and hide it away for another time. I also have learned in my own life but certainly in working with people so intimately over the years that nothing can be buried forever.

The story wants to be heard, loved, and understood. It wants to serve and evolve us. So it’s truly worth unearthing.

This particular guest is new to me. She has a heart of gold and a very bright light and serves so many in her years. Often, this kind tend to wind up on their own unique warrior path navigating through many injustices while walking with love. Almost as often, the tenacity to push or break through to new ground can siphon off our ability to nurture ourselves.

What I love is her willingness to allow a trust between us and within herself so she can more fully receive and restore.

Some things I heard from her today, “this is the best self care I’ve ever had”; “I feel like I am in heaven”; “I feel places in my face and neck I never have before like they are waking back up from the attention”.

Specifically one can notice the postural improvement, some release in the SCM, more space come back into the structure of the face in particular opening up contraction between the eyes, and in the forehead and a softening of lines here. As the service progressed, she became electric with a flow of new ideas and her spirit became lighter with more natural cheer.

Nothing is separate.
