I’ve lost an irreplaceable friend and our world lost a great man . He has been dismissed from the hospital called Earth. You and I still roam the halls, smell the medicines, and eat green beans and Jell-O off plastic trays. He meanwhile, enjoys picnics, inhales springtime, and runs through knee-high flowers. You miss loved ones like crazy when they pass,but can you deny the truth? They has no pain, doubt, or struggle. They really are happier in Heaven. And you won't see them soon? When you drop your kids off at school, do you weep as though you'll never see them again? When you drop your spouse at the store and park the car, do you bid a final forever farewell? No. When you say, "I'll see you soon," you mean it. you speak truth. Reunion is a splinter of an eternal moment away. There is no need for you to "grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope" (1 Thessalonians 4:13 NIV) So go ahead, face your grief. Give yourself time. Permit yourself tears. God understands. He knows the sorrow of the grave, He buried his son. But He also knows the joy of resurrection. And, by his power, you will too. I’ve done some funerals in my day and I’ve learned, a funeral is actually for the living to bring closure but it’s also to honor the life of the loved one.
Grief never ends but it does change, it’s a passage not a place to stay , grief is not a sign of weakness or a lack of faith but it’s a price of love.
You hear a song, you see someone dancing you will eat a meal look out and see something in nature and you will remember them.

"Death has been swallowed up in victory." 55 "Where, O death, is your victory? Your born you suffer and you die but fortunately there is a loophole-billy graham. That loophole is called our “blessed hope” it’s that Christ is preparing a place for us!
