It is important for clients to be motivated and dedicated to adhering to their prescribed acne regimen, and it is not meant to be taken as an offensive statement, but rather one based on experience.
Poor client compliance is a common reason for treatment failure, as statistics show that only approximately 12% of acne clients follow professional recommendations.
Dr. Moradi Tuchayi notes that primary non-adherence occurs when the regimen is not even started, which may be due to a lack of knowledge, confusion about the process, fear of adverse effects, or treatment cost.

Secondary non-adherence, on the other hand, occurs when the regimen is started but not followed as directed due to discomfort (such as dryness, irritation, or redness), unrealistic expectations for visible improvement in a short period of time, experiments with combining prescribed regimen with other products, busy lifestyle, lack of self-discipline, inconvenience, or struggles with diet.

As someone who understands the emotional and physical struggles that clients face on the journey to healthy skin, I strive to be transparent about the treatment process, expectations, and results. An example of stubborn mixed dermal and epidermal melasma client been struggling for years. Prior to our treatment she used high doses of hydroquinone, had a series of laser and chemical peels with no significant change.
We have achieved a good progress. Looking at her images under UV light we can see a decrease in dermal pigmentation. Our goal is to maintain the progress. Melasma is tricky and treatment results can be short-lived due to numerous factors such as: UV, HEV (blue spectrum light), hormones, so sun protection is the key for long lasting results.

Acne CONGLOBATA is an uncommon and severe form of acne. Men are more likely to develop it.
It Occurs when acne nodules and cyst begin to grow together deep below the upper skin layer. It’s a form of Nodulocystic acne that over time causes significant and sometimes disfiguring, scarring both (atrophic and keloidal).
Cases of AC includes ingestion of thyroid medications, anabolic steroids, androgens. In some people it is caused by an autoinflammatory disorder. These types of disorders, like autoimmune diseases, are genetic.

The treatment plan for acne CONGLOBATA is very complex. The client asks for help when oral antibiotics prescribed by her physician didn’t help.

My treatment plan mainly consisted from 3 main parts:

1. Actions to subside the inflammation and bacteria growth.
2. Control of skin condition - remission and support of skin protective barrier
3. Acne scars and hypertrophic scar revision.
After achieving strong remission and significant improvement in hypertrophic scar the client will be referred for laser treatment for further improvement of remaining vascular redness.
