Oily skin, needs moisturizer.

Gel based moisturizers are going to be the best case for oily skin. It will leave the skin feel refreshed and not sticky. However, this is a personal preference as there are many forms of moisturizer for everyone’s skin.

Some of my favorite Moisturizers:

Ultra Sheer Moisturizer: Packed with Vitamin E and C, help neutralize free radicals in the environment. It also contains hyaluronic acid which is a staple for oily skin. It helps moisturize while being incredibly lightweight.

Hydrating Hyaluronic Acid Serum: This is lightweight moisturizer with hyaluronic acid and B5. This has a calming, anti-inflammatory effect on the skin. Packed with ceramides it creates a protective layer on the outer layers of our skin.

UV Clear Broad-Spectrum SPF 46: contains Hyaluronic acid and niacinamide. This reduces inflammation, regulates oil and helps keep skin moisturized. It also contains zinc oxide, which helps to prevent hyperpigmentation from getting any worse.

Acne is the most common skin condition in the United States. Affecting up to 50 million Americans annually.

While some of these triggers might not affect everyone, they can absolutely increase the chances of a flare up in almost anyone.

Dairy and stress are HUGE triggers for my skin flare ups and causing annoying acne.

Acne cannot be cured, but managing your acne is totally possible. Acne does not matter based on your age. Due to our skin always changing throughout our cycles, time of year and life events that can also induce stress. Stress will produce more cortisol in your body which can affect sebaceous oil glands.

More oil = more acne

One thing about me…

I thrive off a routine. That is not to say all of my days look the same, most days I feel like none of my days are the same. Raising a toddler, running a small business and making sure everyone in my life feels loved, some days I just need to RESET.

Summer is in full swing!

It is crucial during these warmer months that we are applying our SPF and constantly reapplying SPF. The UV index is extremely strong during the summer months.

To give yourself extra protection make sure you are, applying SPF regularly, exfoliating at night and hydrating everyday to replenish the skin.

How to get gorgeous brows with out using tons of product… Brow Lamination

It is a extremely important we are nourishing and hydrating our brows after the lamination.

However, our Lamination system is infused with aloe vera making it super gentle. Due to this you don’t need to putting on the castor oil everyday.

Clients should not use the castor oil as a styling product as it can weigh will down the hairs and cause the lamination to become less effective.

I love adding my castor oil to my brows during my night time skincare routine! ✨
