Everyone wants the big bouncy blowout right now 👀✨
But here’s the part no one talks about… it’s not just the tools.
If your haircut doesn’t have the right layers and shape, your hair is not going to move like this or hold this kind of volume. You can use the same brush, the same dryer, the same products… and still not get the same result.
It also starts with a clean foundation. A proper shampoo and a solid blow dry make a huge difference in how your hair takes the style and how long it lasts.
The girls you’re seeing with this kind of volume aren’t just styling their hair… it’s the haircut, the prep, and the technique all working together 🤍
If your hair feels flat, heavy, or like it never does what you want it to… you probably don’t need more products, you need the right cut.

Low maintenance blonde vs high maintenance blonde 👀
High maintenance blonde
bright, solid, needs toning often, harsh grow out
Low maintenance blonde
soft dimension, blended root, grows out seamless, less upkeep
Neither is wrong… it just depends on your lifestyle 🤍
If you don’t want to be in the salon every 6 to 8 weeks, this is the kind of blonde you want ✨

It’s ok girl… wash your damn hair 💁♀️✨
I’ve seen more hair loss in the last few years than ever before and a lot of it comes back to scalp health. The trend of going as long as possible without washing just isn’t working for most people.
Your scalp is skin. It needs to be clean and balanced for your hair to actually grow and stay healthy 🤍
Not everyone should be washing once a week. Most people need to wash every 1 to 3 days depending on oil, workouts, and buildup. Letting all of that sit too long can clog your follicles and create inflammation, which studies have linked to increased shedding.
A clean scalp equals better hair growth ✨
That’s why I offer a scalp detox service. It includes a scalp scrub to break down buildup, a clarifying cleanse, deep conditioning treatment, and a blowout to fully reset your scalp.
If your hair has been shedding more, feeling heavy, or just not the same… this might be what you’re missing 💆♀️
Booking is in my bio 💕
Nothing more emotional than a toner formula that hits just right ✨

Take care of it at home so I can make it iconic in the salon 💕

If your blonde looks dull lately, it might be because it’s too ashy ☀️
The brightest blondes always have a little gold in them. Gold reflects light. When everything is overly ashy, the hair can start to look flat.
With the weather warming up I’m seeing a lot of clients wanting brighter, buttery, sun kissed blondes again and honestly I love it.
Roseville and Sacramento clients can fill out the new client form in my bio to book ✨

A little backstory on Icon ✨🪩💖 Hair Studio
Leeah and I actually met a few years ago through mutual friends and ended up working in salons together. I’m lucky enough to share this space with her now, and at the end of 2024 we unexpectedly decided to open our own studio together… and honestly it ended up being the best thing we could’ve done.
The name Icon felt right because we both love the idea of women showing up as their best, most confident selves. Being unapologetically you is always iconic. We also share a love for all the iconic women throughout history who have done exactly that.
What started as just the two of us has turned into something really special. Our clients have gotten to know each other, the energy is always good, and it truly feels like one big family in here.
Good drinks, good music, a relaxed vibe, plenty of gossip and reality TV talk… and of course great hair.
We’re also a bit of a dynamic duo when it comes to extensions
I specialize in tape-ins and hand tied wefts
Leeah is our K-tip queen
We’re so grateful for everyone who has supported Icon since day one. You guys are the reason this little salon feels like home ✨

Things your hairstylist wants you to know before your appointment ✨
First things first… I’m not judging you 🤍
Not your grown out roots.
Not the box dye.
Not your at-home bangs ✂️
Not the fact that it’s been a year since your last appointment.
My job isn’t to make you feel bad about your hair. It’s to help you figure out what we can do with it moving forward.
A few things that help before your appointment:
Bring inspiration photos 📸
Be honest about your hair history.
Understand that big changes usually take more than one appointment.
Healthy hair always comes first ✨

Surround yourself with women who actually pour into you 🥂✨
Not compete with you. Not drain you. Not secretly hope you fail.
The older I get, the less tolerance I have for weird energy and surface-level bu****it.
My chair isn’t just about hair. It’s about hyping each other up. Real conversations. Celebrating wins. Venting about life. Crying over men. Talking business. Walking out feeling like a bad bitch.
I get to be around strong, hardworking, funny as hell women every single week and that kind of community is powerful.
Yeah, the hair matters. But the way you feel when you leave? That’s the magic.
If you’re in Roseville and you want more than just a hair appointment… if you want to feel poured into, supported, and a little extra confident walking out the door, my chair’s open 🤍
Let’s build some badass women energy in here.

Storytime:
I used to think working at Great Clips was below my skill set.
A few years into my career I left full-service salons because I needed steadier income. At the time I honestly thought I was taking a job below my skill set.
I was wrong. Those stylists can CUT.
Working there was basically boot camp for haircutting. It drilled the fundamentals of shape into my brain, forced me to get fast, and it’s where I really learned how to use my clippers.
We were doing 15–20 haircuts a day sometimes. No hiding behind styling. Just cutting hair all day long.
I caught on quickly and became a manager within a few months. That’s when I really saw the customer service side of things.
People can be brutal to stylists in those environments. Being in that role meant having some pretty uncomfortable conversations with people who thought it was okay to mistreat the stylists working their asses off behind the chair.
It definitely gave me thick skin.
Color always came easy to me, but cutting is where confidence is built. I credit that year and a half for making me the well-rounded stylist I am today.
I missed color and the creative freedom of working for myself, so ultimately it wasn’t sustainable for my mental and physical health.
But I’ll say this — I was wrong about places like Great Clips and Supercuts. Those girls work their asses off, and a lot of them are insanely talented.
Any stylist who has worked in a high-volume chain salon knows exactly what I’m talking about.
Every place I’ve worked shaped the stylist I am today, and I bring all of that into my chair now.
If you value a stylist with a wide range of skills and experience behind the chair, my new client form is in my bio 🤍
