I was excited to get back behind the chair for a vivid refresh! Since my client already had an existing red vivid in her hair, there was no need for pre-lightening.

I formulated the new growth with 7RR + 7N permanent color to refresh the roots and create a seamless transition into the existing canvas. After rinsing and drying, I performed a root melt using Pulp Riot Pyro, blending into Pulp Riot Black through the mids and ends to add depth, dimension, and a soft gradient while preserving maximum vibrancy.

Working over an existing vivid allowed us to refresh the color without unnecessary lightening, helping maintain the integrity of her hair while achieving a bold, high-impact finish.

Formula:
• Roots: 7RR + 7N (permanent)
• Root Melt: Pulp Riot Pyro
• Ends: Pulp Riot Black
