It has been more than a year since we opened our new studio.

I’ve met so many incredible people while building Radiant Physique, Inc.. As a massage therapist, I’ve learned that every industry—and every business within it—has both beautiful and challenging sides. One of the hardest things to witness has been talented therapists leaving the profession due to burnout. It breaks my heart to know the average massage career lasts only seven years.

Owning Radiant Physique has pushed and grown me in ways I never imagined. The best piece of advice I’ve received came from my husband, who once said, “As a manager, you can't ask people to do something you aren’t willing to do yourself.” Hearing that from someone who loves, cherishes, and supports all of who I am—it hit differently.

It made me ask:
Can I treat myself with the same compassion and care I offer my clients?
Can I prioritize consistent self-care, set healthy work boundaries, and ask for help when I need it?
Can I give myself permission to do all this and run a successful business?

When I was Director at Atlanta School of Massage, I used to ask myself and fellow business owners:
“Why can’t massage businesses exist where therapists are prioritized over the bottom line?”

The answer is: It can.
It’s not only possible—it’s essential.
Self-care is an extension of the love I hold for those around me. And I am worthy of living a joyful, abundant, and peaceful life. And it begins in my closest relationships!

Alan brings over 20 years of massage therapy experience to Radiant Physique, Inc. Many of his clients have been with him for more than two decades—a true reflection of the deep trust, care, and excellence he provides.

With certifications in Oncology, Lymphatic, Swedish/Deep Tissue, and Asian massage modalities, Alan’s grounded presence is rooted in his daily meditation and Qi Gong practice. He excels at bringing comfort and peace to those navigating physically or emotionally difficult seasons of life.

Alan and his wife, Samantha, are excited to share their expertise and love of massage with our Tribe of Radiance community—and we couldn’t be more thrilled to have them with us.
