Roots & Razors Barbershop

❤️ A LITTLE THANK YOU FROM US TO YOU ❤️

TWO THINGS!

1. The Back to School Special was one for the books!

We had an incredible turnout, and we’re extremely thankful to everyone who chose Roots & Razors Barbershop to get the kids ready for another school year. Seeing the support from our local community has been amazing.

Whether you were one of our regulars or it was your first time stepping through our doors, thank you. Your business means more to us than just another haircut.

If you stopped in during the special, we’d really appreciate you taking a moment to leave us a Google review.

Those reviews help us tremendously and make it easier for families and new customers to find us when they’re searching for a local barbershop.

Thank you for helping us grow, keeping us busy, and supporting our dream of building something right here in our community.

We appreciate you all more than you know. 🙏✂️

2. We will be working a half day Tuesday 9/8 and then CLOSED on Wednesday and Thursday 9/9 and 9/10 and will reopen on Friday 9/11. I’m taking advantage of those days to simply recharge 🤣

🚨 REMINDER 🚨

Tomorrow starts the back to school special! I am going to be VERY busy and WILL NOT be able to accept walk ins and I will not be doing any sort of designs due to time restraints, I hope everyone understands 🙏🏽 Walk in days are TUESDAY, WEDNESDAY, and THURSDAY from 10-1 with Craig.

With that being said, Tuesday 9/1 is the only day left with appointment openings, please book accordingly (use the link below or call/text me) and for everyone who has shared and liked the posts to help bring attention to this I appreciate you more than you’ll ever know! I am literally nothing without all of you so let’s make this a great special FOR THE KIDS 🙏🏽💈

🎉 Community Event Announcement! 🎉

We will be closed on Tuesday, August 4th as we get ready to spend the evening at the Schenectady County National Night Out at Shafer Park in Duanesburg!

We were really looking forward to offering haircuts at the event, but due to food vendors being located nearby, we unfortunately won’t be able to cut hair this time around. That’s okay though; we’re still excited to be there supporting our amazing community and enjoying a great night with everyone!

If you’re planning on attending, make sure you stop by and say hello! We’d love to meet new faces, catch up with our clients, and be part of an event that brings our community together.

This is a FREE evening of fun featuring the New York State Police Aviation Unit helicopter, police and emergency vehicles, live music, games, local food vendors, and a spectacular fireworks show to end the night!

📅 Tuesday, August 4, 2026
🕕 Event starts at 6:00PM
🎆 Fireworks at 9:00PM
📍 Robert A. Shafer Memorial Park

👇 Let us know in the comments if you’ll be there—we’d love to see some familiar faces!

See you Tuesday evening! 💈🇺🇸

If you could find the kindness in your heart to take 30 seconds from your evening and vote for us here at Roots & Razors Barbershop it would mean the world to me 🙏🏽 Without you there is no me, but let’s show everyone we stand for so much more here than haircuts!

Thank you to everyone who has this far and to everyone that will THANK YOU!

You are all family and together we can do anything in certain of it 🙏🏽💕
