What IS Manual Lymphatic Drainage (MLD) Massage anyway??

Think of your lymph nodes like your dryers lint trap which captures all the yuck from your clothes.

Rather than 'lint' though, lymph nodes capture toxins, metabolic waste, stress hormones, virus, bacteria, and invader cells that live in your body. YUCK

T-cells which fight off all of those things also live in those lymph nodes. They kill invaders (or lint) living in the nodes.

Lymphatic fluid is like the air flowing through the dryer vent to be eliminated outside.

Interstitial fluid (water) flows through the nodes in a very specific pattern; heading toward 2 main ducts for elimination. ...

Makes sense, right? The nodes collect the debris, the killer cells kill the invaders and the water flows through to flush it all out of you! Yay!!

EXCEPT ...

If the lint trap is all backed up the air cannot flow through wreaking havoc on your dryer ! Likewise,

✨️If the nodes get backed up, the fluid cannot flow through. The Tcells get buried and overwhelmed and cant fight back!

Nothing is getting eliminated! ✨️

The result is excess fluid ... aka ... the dreaded ... INFLAMMATION, SWELLING, and SICKNESS in the body. Poor immune function! 🤮YUCK!!
