Why Is It So Hard to Say, two words-‘I apologize?

Why is it so hard to say, “I’m sorry”?
For many people, those two words feel heavier than they should. Pride gets in the way. Ego gets involved. We worry that admitting a mistake somehow makes us weak, less valuable, or less respected. We even feel if we apologize, minimizes another person’s responsiblity.

But the truth is quite the opposite.
One of the greatest signs of maturity is the ability to take responsibility for YOUR actions. Strong people don’t spend their lives looking for someone to blame. They don’t waste valuable time building a case against everyone around them. They have the courage to look in the mirror and ask, “What could I have done differently?” Growth begins where excuses end.

Every relationship, every workplace, every family, and every friendship experiences misunderstandings. Mistakes happen. Feelings get hurt. Expectations go unmet. The question is not whether problems will occur. The question is whether you will spend your energy assigning blame or finding solutions.
