There’s just something about a fresh flexi rod set that brings out the soft, feminine energy 😍✨

From the rolling process to the final fluff and style…this look always feels like a full experience. In this video, I used Dream Cream to smooth and moisturize each section before rolling, and babyyyy…look at the finish 👏🏽💛

One thing I love about flexi rod sets is that they’re a great heat-free styling option that can help add body, stretch the hair, reduce tangles, and create soft, bouncy curls with lots of movement. It’s one of those styles that can make you feel instantly put together while still being gentle on your hair.

And let’s talk about Dream Cream for a second because she understood the assignment 😂✨

Dream Cream is made with goat’s milk and helps soften, smooth, and moisturize the hair without leaving it feeling heavy or greasy. It’s especially good for roller sets, flexi rod sets, sleek styles, and helping the hair feel hydrated and manageable during styling.

The final result? Soft curls, moisturized hair, and that satisfied “okayyyy hairrrr 😍” feeling while looking in the mirror lol.

✨ Meet the Heart Behind Urbanaire Gypsy ✨

Hey beautiful people 💛
I wanted to take a moment to properly introduce myself.

My name is Stacy, founder and owner of Urbanaire Gypsy — an all-natural hair and self-care brand created from a place of healing, creativity, faith, and a desire to help people feel good from the inside out.

But outside of creating products, I also work in the mental health field as a Qualified Mental Health Professional and mental health advocate. Working closely with people from all walks of life has taught me something deeply important:

People don’t just need products.
People need peace.
People need encouragement.
People need safe spaces to breathe, heal, rest, and feel seen.

That’s honestly why my page is a blend of things. One day you may see hair care, another day a prayer, another day encouragement, coping skills, wellness tips, laughter, reflection, or reminders to slow down and care for yourself. To me… it all connects.

I believe self-care is more than what we put on our hair or skin. It’s also:
✨ protecting your peace
✨ learning healthy coping skills
✨ resting your mind
✨ speaking life over yourself
✨ spending time with God
✨ allowing yourself room to heal and grow

Prayer has personally been one of the greatest ways I counter stress and stay grounded through life’s challenges. My relationship with God keeps me anchored, especially while pouring into others daily through both my business and mental health work.

My goal here is simply to create a warm space that encourages people to glow mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically — one post, one conversation, one prayer, and one self-care moment at a time 💛

Thank you for being here and growing with me. 🦋

Sometimes your body isn’t just tired… sometimes your spirit is craving connection. 🤎

This weekend reminded me how healing it is to spend real time with people you love. Not rushed. Not through a screen. Just laughing, walking, talking, being outside, soaking up the sun, looking at goats acting ridiculous 😂🐐 and enjoying life for what it is.

And the beautiful part is… science actually supports this.

Research shows that loneliness and chronic stress can negatively affect the body over time, while healthy connection, laughter, sunlight, fresh air, movement, and time outdoors can help improve mood, lower stress hormones, support mental health, and even help the body feel more regulated and balanced.

Basically… sometimes you don’t need another doom scroll session. You need sunlight, good people, deep laughs, and a little bit of outside. 🌞

And no, life isn’t magically perfect. We all have responsibilities, healing, bills, pressure, uncertainty, and moments where we feel overwhelmed. But I’m learning that joy is also a form of self-care. Peace is necessary. Connection matters.

Sometimes healing looks less like a breakthrough moment… and more like a long walk with somebody who feels like home.

So this is your gentle reminder from your internet big sister:
Go spend time with people who make your nervous system feel safe. Go laugh. Go outside. Let the sun hit your face. Touch some grass. Hug your people a little longer.

Your soul might need it more than you realize. 🤎✨

Happy Friday Loves! Just a gentle reminder this morning…
you made it through the week. 💛

Through the stress, the unexpected moments, the emotional ups and downs, and everything life tried to place on your shoulders… you’re still here. And that alone is something to be grateful for.

“This is the day the Lord has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” ✨

I wanted to share a quick prayer over your weekend — for peace, rest, clarity, protection, joy, and alignment. I pray that this weekend pours back into you in all the ways life may have pulled from you lately.

Take care of your heart.
Take care of your mind.
Take care of the beautiful person God created you to be. 🌿

Travel has a way of resetting the soul. 🌎✨

Something about getting out of your usual routine… breathing different air… seeing new scenery… laughing with family… slowing down long enough to actually enjoy your life again. It reminds you that life is meant to be lived, not just managed.

And one thing I promised myself this season?
I’m taking the trips. ✈️🤎

The best part is learning how to travel lighter — mentally, emotionally, and yes… even in my luggage 😂

That’s one reason I love traveling with Urbanaire Gypsy products. Our products are intentionally multipurpose, so instead of packing 15 different bottles, I can keep it simple without neglecting my hair or skin.

Poppin’ Puddin’ can moisturize my hair, soften my skin, and even work beautifully as part of my glow routine while traveling. Cray Cray Clay helps cleanse away buildup from long travel days while nourishing my hair with natural ingredients like Moroccan Rhassoul clay, goat milk, and essential oils. Pretty Gel*ous keeps my styles looking soft, defined, and easy to maintain while I’m out enjoying life instead of spending hours in the mirror.

Traveling light should never mean sacrificing the health of your hair or skin.

Healthy ingredients. Less clutter. More freedom.
That’s the vibe. 🤎

Because the goal isn’t just to look good while traveling…
it’s to actually feel good while living.

Soft hair. Soft skin. Soft life. ✨

I used to think my hair was doing the absolute most when I was young and easily intimidated by my main character energy hair 😂

Shrinkage. Volume. Broken combs. Wash days that felt like unpaid labor. The whole experience.

Meanwhile my Dad was somewhere in the background like, “Bring me the Blue Magic grease, the hot comb, and a prayer” 😭💛

And somehow… me and my big sister also follicle rich, stayed school picture ready 📸.

Now that I’m older, I laugh because the very thing that once felt “too big” became part of my identity. My hair taught me patience, creativity, softness, confidence… and honestly how to stop fighting what was naturally mine.

Funny how life works.

Little me was overwhelmed by all this hair… meanwhile grown me went and created UrbanaireGypsy 🤎✨

So this is really an appreciation post:
For the journey.
For the thick hair girls.
For the patient parents.
For the girl dads.
And for learning that sometimes the thing you struggled with the most becomes the thing you’re most known for later.

Soft hair hits different when you know what’s actually in your products. ✨🌿

At Urbanaire Gypsy, we believe healthy hair starts with ingredients that love your hair back — like Moroccan rhassoul clay for detoxing buildup, aloe vera for moisture, goat milk for softness, honey for hydration, and nourishing oils that help bring tired strands back to life. 🤎

This isn’t just about looking good… it’s about feeling good while caring for yourself naturally. Wash days become self-care days. Styling becomes a ritual. And every curl, twist, braid, and silk press gets a little extra love.

Because baby… you ARE worth it. ✨

Which ingredient would your hair love most right now? 👀👇🏽

I caught the sweetest little moment this morning, my plant is growing in nothing but water, and on one of the top leaves was a single clear droplet, just sitting there like proof. Proof that what’s poured in at the roots really does travel to the places that need it most. I whispered, “Okay God, i see You with your flawless eco-systems.”

It made me think about us. When we stay hydrated, spirit, body, heart…that same kind of movement happens. What we drink, speak, and receive works its way up to our hair, our skin, our energy, our mood. Roots don’t look glamorous, but they’re doing holy work in the dark.

That’s the whole heartbeat behind Urbanaire Gypsy…simple, clean, nurturing things that support what’s already alive in you instead of forcing it to be something else. Like a good conversation over tea where nobody’s trying too hard, just growing in real time.

So drink your water today. Say a prayer over your roots. And don’t be surprised when a little glow shows up on the top leaf of your life. Ps… I’m loving my art piece by one of Dallas’ best artist in the community …check her out and support
