As an ✏️ EDUCATION based salon we are constantly hiring new faces to train into the stylists they are meant to be.

Here at Alchemy Color Lab all new employees go through "The Refinery" a 12 point bootcamp that focuses on delivering amazing and consistent results with proven practices. During this program we offer opportunity days to those ready. On these days they are able stand behind the chair confident in their skills and start to grow a clientele while under the guide of our Lead & Master Artists.

Our goal is not only to provide safe space for them to learn and grow but to pair them with individuals open to the concept for a lower price point.

That is breakage and it can come from a multitude of reasons but once it’s there it does need to be addressed. The options are to cut the hair shorter to match or to add extensions to blend. If your ready for the change go for it! If you have been “growing it out” this could be the solution you’ve been looking for.

I look back
and wonder how all this time has passed yet I feel a sense of overwhelming shock at the amount of struggles we have overcome. I was not ready for this, I thought I was!

I knew hair, I knew education, I knew customer service but I did not know leadership, finances, budgets, or laws. Half a decade later I sit here in awe of what Alchemy has become.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I’ve learned a lot as a leader, as a friend, and as a human. Life has a funny way of teaching you the lessons you need to learn one way or another. You see I come from trauma, I grew up in chaos and it has followed me everywhere I go. If you know me you know I thrive in it but it was so unhealthy for me I needed to break the cycle. The lockdown was a big wake-up call; everything I had worked for was at risk. It was time to face my demons, and that I did.
⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
I have grown over the last 5 years to understand that leading is not a perfect glowing career path. It takes hard lessons, personal sacrifice, and a love for giving back that few possess. I sit here in tears writing my memoir as a success story. When they say if you work hard it will happen 👏 they MEAN IT.
