Since re-opening we have taken extreme measures to make everyone’s health our top priority. Like all businesses who have re-opened during this health crisis, we did our very best to maintain a Covid-free environment. However, sometimes even our best is not enough.
Recently, one of our stylists had a family member test positive for covid-19. Unfortunately, this stylist also became sick and tested positive. While that stylist had not been in the salon for over a week at the time the family member showed positive, we took advanced measures to ensure the safety of our clients and staff.
These measures included closing the salon and hiring a Covid-certified cleaning company to professionally clean our salon, including the use of a sanitation fog. We’d like to thank Drew Anderson and everyone at Anderson’s cleaning services for their professionalism and thorough service.
In addition, every stylist was tested for Covid. We are happy to report that all stylists have tested negative.
We would like to thank the Rutherford county health department, who worked closely with us to take these measures and to guide us in ways we can further reduce our exposure risks.
We want to thank our clients for their patience and compliance with all the changes we’ve had to make to serve them in a safe manner.
We anticipate being able to take appointments again today, June 23rd. Again, we thank you for your support and understanding during this difficult time.

Cuttin up is pleased to announce that we will re-open tuesday, may 26th. We are asking for your patience as we do this in compliance with north carolina restrictions, which are still not fully defined. We anticipate to be limited to the number of clients in the salon at one time and will be unable to take walk-ins. Because of this, please reach out to your stylist to book an appointment or for more information. We also anticipate implementing various other safety measures to protect our clients and staff. These measures will include social distancing, our stylists wearing face masks, additional disinfection procedures and closing our public seating area, among other things. Again, we are asking for your patience and understanding as we know you are eager to have your hair care needs met. We are eager to meet those needs, must do so with north carolina guidelines in mind.

Again, please contact your stylist to schedule your appointment as we will not accept walk ins. Thank you in advance for your continued patronage and understanding during this difficult time.

This was a tough call for us but we feel it was the responsible action to take.
