Sacramento, we need to start a movement!

If you were to have an honest conversation with any local business owner you are likely to get the same tale. Business is down, folks aren’t coming out to support like they used to. The world has changed and most money is going to online juggernauts, and home delivery.

Most people would look at me having several shops and opening a new ice cream store as doing well; maybe even killin’ it. I’m not. I’m hanging on by a string and a prayer.

I don’t say much about it to the public, because I believe in my staff, my community and my business. But there is no denying that things are getting scary out there.

We can normally tell what the year will look like by March’s numbers and let me tell you, they were dismal. April is even worse.

I’m a fighter and will figure s**t out, but there are tons of other businesses in Sacramento that are losing hope.

Please support your local small business. This is me asking you to actively participate in your community. Go out and get a beer or coffee at your local spot. Order dinner through the businesses website instead of Postmates or DoorDash and pick that food up (they don’t care if you’re in your sweats). If you have a gift to buy, check out your local shops; make a day of it, we work hard to make a really fun exciting experience for you not just a service.

Folks have said when businesses close “why didn’t they say something? I would have come out to support!” I’m saying something. Come out and support please. We all need you. You are our community and the only way LOCAL businesses survive is with community support.

F**k the billionaires, they don’t give two s**ts about Sacramento. We do!

🧧After 2 whole years of not raising my prices, I’m finally doing it and giving myself (and my small business) a raise. Many of my clients have been telling me to raise my prices for some time now and I promised them that I would! (Is it bad when your clients are telling you that you aren’t charging your worth?? 😅)

🧧These prices will go in to effect on September 1st of this year. I know this is short notice, so, if you already have your appointments pre-booked, I will honor the old prices for those pre-booked appointments.
