I always get asked why I became an esthetician and not why I didn’t, so here’s some reasons why I didn’t become an esthetician 🙊

1- We all know I think beauty standards deserve the guillotine 😌 Your body is a body babe, I’m happy you have one and you’re here.

2- My esthetician journey BEGAN with being sold products that invariably destroyed my skin and caused me to experience more acne than necessary. I will never sell you anything I don’t believe in myself 🧴 ❌ 🐍

3-This one is more personal- As much as I love sharing stories and being your cheerleader, I also sometimes am emotionally wiped and can’t always keep up. Try to check in with your estheticians before discussing something heavy 🫶🏻 I don’t always shy away from personal stories but some days are just not prime for it and I want to be the best version of myself for everyone who steps into the suite.

4- Etch “Body hair is morally neutral” on my headstone tbh!!! 🪦

5- I can’t begin to tell you how many people saw me become an esthi at a young age and immediately assumed I did it as a hobby or was funded by some third person for funzies. And while sure, it seems fun and relaxing…being a small business owner is quite the opposite sometimes. It started out as a hobby, absolutely! But my investment lies in providing quality services, connecting with clients and delivering magical results 🔮 and that is all being done by proudly by myself 🧙🏻‍♀️
