November has arrived y'all! Can't believe how fast this year has flown by.

I hope you all had a great October!
Missing my facial clients very much - I miss connecting in that way, massaging your faces & just lovin' on ya!

As November approaches, I look back and think of all the transitions that have happened this year. Grateful for it all - the experiences, the hard times, the fun times, the good times, the lessons, etc. I took a break on most things business related this past month & have been in mama mode/soaking in all of this quality time with my fam, applying for jobs, working on self/started therapy again and much more. I need more time to sit with how I may want to proceed with my business and really want to hone in on what I want to offer and when.

My hubby & I have been in the home hunting process for the first time and after a few weeks of looking at homes, we found the one for our family. The offer was accepted & we'll be getting our keys at the end of the month! Where you might ask? In Plumas Lake, going towards Yuba City - about 1/2 hour from N. Natomas where we currently reside. Never did I think I'd live there as I knew nothing about the city prior to a client mentioning it, but after finding out more about the city, learning more about the school districts, visiting more often - we grew to really like it. We liked the diversity, it still not being too far from the downtown area and this area of Plumas is just starting to develop so we can't wait to see the growth and build community!

I am still interested in doing house calls or if you'd like to have a facial party for your pre-teen/teen/friends/family! If you are, please email me at [email protected] with your ideas
of wanting either of those services!
The goal is to have an ADU unit in our backyard, but that won't be something that happens soon as it is a big investment. If I do this, I'd love to know if you'd like to come to Plumas for a facial? :)

I'll officially be closing my doors Monday, September 30.
Thank you to each & everyone who has sent such kind messages that have been filling my heart & soul so much.
Feeling pretty numb about it at the moment, feels like I'm dreamin'; like it's not reality to be honest.
Also, thank you for being understanding as I try my best to navigate getting you in for before I close.
There have been many of you who have been using your gift cards this month, if you still have one please reach out to me.
I can open up a couple more days this coming week on Wed & Fri during the day.
If our schedules don't align, than please feel free to use it towards skincare products or we can arrange something else ie: you're a long time client & I can do a house visit, etc.

September is now open &

I have BIG news to share with you all!

Hey lovelies - I so look forward to seeing some of you in the coming month!

I have some major news for Intentional Skin Studio
& it is so bittersweet for me.

I will be closing the doors to Intentional Skin Studio sometime after September.
This was a hard decision, but ultimately the best decision for my family & I.
Although hard, I now have a deep peace about this decision &
I know it is just for this season of my life.
As I have more detailed information about when my official last day is at the studio, I will update you!

With that being said, if you received a gift certificate from a loved one -
please make a September appointment or you can put it toward skincare product.
If you don't see anything available that works with your schedule,

& we will get you in, somehow, some way.

I officially started my esthetician business back in 2017,
soon after having my 1st son.
It has been a beautiful journey, from the hardships ie: covid to building so many special relationships with each of you.
Some of you have been with me since the beginning which is mind blowing & I am so so thankful.
I am so grateful to you for trusting me with your skin whether you're a new guest or have been rockin' with me for years!
I have so much more to say but will express more in another message,
another time.
As I type this, it still feels like I'm just dreaming about this decision that's been made & ya girl is getting emotional over here.

This is not the end of Intentional Skin Studio as it's just a pivot in my business.
The plan is to offer virtual consults, offer clean beauty skincare products, create merch & create a blog to educate you on all things skin & health.
I'd love to collaborate with folks and provide facials at workshops in the community as well as creating my own workshops for teens & so much more!
I will still continue to offer in-person services from time-to-time.
I just need to work out the kinks and figure out what that will look like being I won't have my own physical space anymore.

Adjustments for August

Hey!! My sons are on a waitlist for this years after-school program &

I will be making some adjustments to my August schedule.
I will be reaching out to a few guests today to reschedule.
This change will knock off a few hours I have available on Tuesdays & Thursdays.
I will continue to work some evenings and weekends.

Heyyy! I just wanted to let you know I'm opening a few appointments this week.

This is for returning guests only for now.

Sunday @ 12, 2 & 4

I may need to make adjustments on time of appointment depending on what length of facial you choose.

Still navigating care for my boys this summer but at this point, instead of worrying about what I'm going to do to keep my business afloat and all that jazz, I'm leaning into the idea that this is happening for a reason.
This time to connect out in nature, play, read, do crafts, etc. - it's been refreshing to the soul in the midst of it all.

We recently went to Effie Yeaw Nature Center in Carmichael. I used to take my daughters there when they were littles and had totally forgotten about it. We went last week and it is truly such a magical place - highly recommend if you have littles or just want to go on a solo adventure. We spent the whole day there & it was everything we needed.

Navigating what to do with our sons during summer break as we were told by their after-school program they'd get into the summer program no problem and they ended up being put on a waiting list.
They still have a chance of getting in and in the meantime signed them up for another place just in case & should hear from them this week whether they got in or not.
All that to say, doing my best to manage the mama & business life.

It's a Connective Tissue Natural Facelift Course that'll I'll be taking in-person which I love so I can get that hands-on practice & meet others in the industry!
I am beyond excited to continue my education & bring in something new to Intentional Skin Studio!
This certification will be a big stepping stone to bringing in
Buccal Massage, aka intraoral massage, which is something I've been wanting to do for yearsss. I'm stoked y'all!!!

April/May books are now open &

I'm officially moved into the new spa space!

Thank you so much for your love during this transition into the new space!

I officially start taking guests at:
1919 21st Street, Suite 202, Sacramento, CA 95811
starting tomorrow & I can't wait to see you there!

My new schedule as of now will be:
Monday & Thursday 10:30-4
Tuesday 10:30-1:30
Saturday [1x a month] 10-2

This new schedule is based on the availability our new daycare provider has for our son Noah, who just started care this Monday.
I know some of you only are free on the weekend for a service with me,
which is why I decided to open up 1 Saturday a month for now.
I will choose here and there to extend my Saturday hours or come in on some evenings & when I do, I will be sure to communicate that via IG & email.

If you ever have a big event to go to, have a loved one in town that you'd love to gift a facial too, etc., always feel free to email me at: [email protected]
and I'll always see what I can do to possibly make that happen!

This schedule won't be forever as our daycare provider will at some point change her availability and things may shift as my kiddos enter summer break, etc.
