Dear Family, Friends, and Beautiful Clients,With a heart full of gratitude, I want to share that I’ll be officially closing this Inner Beauty Hair Design page.What a journey it has been! For decades, this salon was more than just a place to do hair—it was a sanctuary of laughter, healing, stories, and sisterhood. Thank you for trusting me with your beauty, your hearts, and your time. You were never just clients—you became family.But as life does, seasons shift—and so does purpose.After caring for my husband for 8 years through Lewy Body Dementia, my life was transformed. I know what it’s like to feel overwhelmed, isolated, and exhausted. I also know the strength, the faith, and the resilience it takes to keep showing up in love.That’s why I’m now being called into a new mission:
From the Salon Chair to Self-Care God has placed it on my heart to be a voice for caregivers—especially women—who are pouring from empty cups and suffering in silence. My new page, Inner Beauty By Design, is dedicated to self-care for the caregiver. It’s where I now share resources, encouragement, and real talk about healing, faith, and finding yourself again in the midst of caregiving.This isn’t goodbye—it’s a beautiful new beginning.

Hello Inner Beauty Family,

I hope you and your families are taking every precaution to stay safe during this global crisis. These past few weeks have been trying times for all of us as COVID-19 has presented us with a new set of challenges.

One of the challenges for me is how much I miss all of you. The many conversations... you have to admit the discussions in the salon can be very amusing. I knew I loved my job but didn’t realize how much I would miss the interactions with you, my clientele/IB Family.

We want you to know that as a result of the local economic impact of COVID-19, our doors will remain closed until the end of April, or should we say, until the social distancing quarantine is lifted.

In the meantime, I just want you to know that you are not alone with your hair care woes. Last week, I was feeling yucky about my hair and decided to give myself a trim… Well, using the scissors on my own head is kind of awkward, so I thought I would try the clippers, and guess what? I dropped them on the back of my head! Needless to say, I now have a very short haircut. Thought I’d share a little something to make you laugh!

That being said, for your convenience, I have created an online retail store with my inspirational and hair products we use here at Inner Beauty. http://innerbeautybydesign.square.site I'm still building the site.
