Open Books -

I find it hard to process everything these days, because like most people, I'd say the events of 2020 have given me the worst whiplash in every category of life. But I'm here, and I'm happy to start serving my community through haircuts again, and I wanted to simply update my clients on haircut services opening up very soon!!! Thank you for all your patience so far!

* I found a space, and I need the rest of the week to set it up accordingly for the new California State guidelines, an ALWAYS controlled and disease free environment (I have always made this a top priority), and of course, masks and chill vibes.

** I am still waiting for an official date according to the City of Sacramento on when we can officially take clients. This is NOT yet determined, as soon as it is, the online booking will become immediately available. There is a gray area of being able to start opening shops on Tuesday, but we don't know for sure in our County. Ideally the sooner the better 💛.

Hello! I hope everyone is hanging in there and staying as positive and healthy as possible during this life altering pandemic. I think we are all in the same shoes in hoping life can go back to normal...ish sometime soon.

With that being said, I wanted to officially update you on my intentions as a professional, licensed cosmetologist and barber. I've been taking a lot of time to process this situation as a business owner, a renter, a barber, and I found myself frozen with decisions. I debated house calls, but ultimately decided that it's just as bad as staying open in regards to social distancing, playing my part as both a professional and flattening the curve. I take my licensing and the safety of my clients very seriously, and will continue to not perform services until I've been either deemed "essential", or it is safe to do so, and the lockdown has been lifted.

In other heavy news, I've moved out of Phenix Salon Suites, due to the irrational financial expectations, and attitudes from the landlords. The unknown of when I can use my shop ( old shop now) again is scary, and all though it feels like a huge loss, it's also an opportunity to open other doors. Being able to have a place to perform services at, is my 1st priority, and I have plan A, B, and C and will annoyingly update you on my landing. Rest assured when this is over, I'll be working 7 days a week, all day/night to accommodate each and every client.

I hope you all understand as I'm sure you do. Thank you ALL for your continued support and positive words, and even Venmos! This time truly makes me grateful and so happy to be a barber for my community and helps me to push forward! Absolutely can not wait to cut all of your hairs again!!!💛🖤💛🖤
