FORGOT ABOUT DADS

"Forgot About Dads" was born from my personal journey as a single father. That experience opened my eyes to a powerful truth-when you re the only parent in the home, it doesn t matter if you re mom or dad. Your kids depend on you, and stepping up is not an option-it s a duty.

In the 1980s and early '90s, being a good neighbor meant looking out for each other, guiding kids, and building strong communities. But over time, we lost that sense of responsibility. The streets changed. Children started to wander without guidance, and the village that once raised them grew silent.

This movement is about bringing that village back.
It s about reminding the world that fathers matter. That men can nurture, lead, and raise with love and strength. That showing up every day, even when it's hard, is something worth honoring.

Let s teach our kids that greatness begins at home. That school and self-respect are cool. That it s okay to take pride in doing the right thing-even when no one s watching.

To every dad doing his best: We see you. We support you. You are not forgotten.

INTRODUCTION
TO
FORGOT ABOUT DADS
Was founded off my personal experience as being a single father which help me to realize the struggle of the house hold when you are a single parent the gender doesn’t not matter when the children are our responsibility farther more the importance of humanity the responsibility of being a good neighbor it matters in the 1980’s to late 1990’s it seem things had turned to where the community became careless to help out as if a new dark age had set a paw us people stop doing what once was the normality like seeing kids take the wrong route in life early ditching school run the streets trying to find there way ! Adults stop telling them things that old peers use to take delight in ?
Take you butt home ,go to school keep your head in the books and of them girls vice versa for the ladies it was less people helping the grandmothers. Take the groceries in the house or assisting them,to across the street. As I got older, I realize most the male role models. Have been absent from the home, leaving the mothers, grandmothers, the aunties, the women of the family to try to fulfill both roles.so our future goals are to stray where we are they say the small things count up lifting dads with support to allow them to overcome their failures, trauma and past mistakes, provide counseling, Housing anger management reentry programs job seeking clothing, meals, spiritual foundation, but forgot about dad’s is not just a nonprofit organization only for males or fathers is for females too and mothers. It’s really a platform to give back to society. they helped the less fortunate to expanding communication skills all the way down to passing a dollar out of the window to somebody in need
