Why the confusion?

Tallow is an animal fat, and many assume all fats cause breakouts or clog pores. But our skin is complex, and tallow’s natural composition closely mimics the fatty acids our skin produces. This means it’s incredibly compatible and nourishing - not a pore blocker.

What makes tallow so special?
It’s rich in vitamins A, D, E, and K - antioxidants that support skin repair.

The fatty acids in tallow help reinforce your skin’s natural barrier, locking in moisture and protecting against irritants.

At Pure Tallow, we handcraft most of our whipped tallows using organic Jojoba oil, (with the exception of Kakadu Plum and Be Enchanted) - not just because it’s premium, but because it’s better for your skin.
