Mason A46828303 is 4 years old, 65 pounds, neutered, and heartworm negative. Found as a stray on 3/3.

I was able to easily leash him and take him outside. Once we were in the yard, he immediately wanted back inside. Tail tucked and waited at the door. I just sat there and let him sniff me. He broke my heart. Notes on his kennel say he is friendly but needs to be monitored in the yard because he tries to get out.

This is my worst nightmare. I see people walking/running with their dogs every day in this ridiculous heat - it’s in the 90s plus in FL with 100% humidity yet people don’t stop to think maybe the pavement is too damn hot for your bare feet so why wouldn’t it be too hot for your dog’s? I tend to mind my own business but someone has to speak for the voiceless.
