Who knew menopause didn’t magically start when your periods stopped?

That’s the biggest misconception.

Perimenopause. The phase where many symptoms begin, YEARS before your last menstrual period.

Brain fog, mood changes, sleep disruption, and hot flashes often increase during the transition, but all these symptoms don’t peak at the same time.

And what’s even crazier? Menopause isn’t the finish line either. Some symptoms improve after menopause, while others, especially genitourinary symptoms (i.e. vaginal dryness, painful s*x, urinary urgency, and recurrent UTIs) often become more common and may worsen without treatment.
