Hey Crystal Abbey fam! Coming at you with some not so great news today. Jeremy is back in the hospital at Memorial. They decided to keep him last night.

The crystal shop will be closed today in anticipation that he hopefully gets cleared and released. These flares are so unpredictable and we hopefully will soon find some relief with surgery options coming up!

If you’ve come by recently and found our doors closed, or noticed that our hours have become inconsistent, I want you to know how deeply sorry I am. Every time I have to lock the door unexpectedly or turn the lights off early, it breaks my heart a little more.
The truth is… behind the scenes, life has been incredibly heavy lately.
I’ve been trying to care for my husband through serious health struggles while also carrying the weight of our businesses, our home, our responsibilities, and the endless day-to-day things that don’t stop just because your heart is tired. There have been days I’ve gone from one job to another running purely on faith, tears, caffeine, and the hope that somehow tomorrow will be easier.

Most people only see the smiling face behind the counter, but what they don’t see are the nights I sit awake worrying about how to keep everything together… or the mornings I cry before opening the doors because I don’t know how I’m supposed to keep being everything for everyone all at once.

I’ve felt exhausted in ways I can’t fully explain. Mentally. Emotionally. Physically. Spiritually.

But even in the middle of all of this, I keep holding on because The Crystal Abbey means so much more to me than a business.

This little shop has become a place filled with love, healing, comfort, friendship, and connection. So many of you have shared your stories with me. We’ve hugged through grief, celebrated milestones together, cried together, laughed together, and reminded each other that healing is possible even after life has knocked the wind out of us.

That’s why I haven’t given up.

Even on the days I feel completely overwhelmed… even on the days I feel like I’m drowning under the weight of it all… I still believe this place matters. I still believe there is light ahead somewhere after this storm.

And I need you to know this: every single person who has continued to support us lately has carried me more than you realize. Every purchase, every share, every message, every prayer, every ounce of patience when I’ve had to unexpectedly close — it has mattered. More than I can ever put into words.

So from the bottom of my heart… thank you for loving this little shop enough to stand by it while I do my best to stand back up too.
