✨ Since I've introduced my seasonal Tranquil Tides Facial, I wanted to share a little more about one of its star treatments—Enzyme Peel ✨
The word "peel" can sound a little intimidating, but enzyme peels are different from traditional chemical peels!

🍍 What is an Enzyme Peel?
Enzyme peels are a gentle, natural exfoliating treatment that uses plant-based enzymes (often derived from fruits) to dissolve and lift away dead skin cells. Some enzymes even use light forms of acids (normally salycilic, glycolic, mandelic, etc..) to work with the enzyme to exfoliate, hydrate or brighten.

🧬 These enzymes are proteolytic, meaning they target the proteins that hold dead skin cells together. The result? Smooth, refreshed, glowing skin without irritation. This means that there is no downtime/peeling + sensitive skin friendly!
