JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Manages and coordinates administrative and clinical services for two physician office sites.

2. Submits billing and coding for all patient visits, and stays up to date on coding guidelines.

3. Establishes work procedures and standards to improve efficiency and effectiveness in the physician offices.

4. Supervises clinical and clerical staff to ensure quality patient care. Approves time off requests and helps to processes payroll for staff and serves as a resource with regard to regulations, personnel policies and procedures.

5. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility.

6. Maintains supply inventory and may give input into developing the budget.

7. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with vendors, and third parties.

8. Demonstrates knowledge of institutional regulations regarding patient care, fire and safety, infection control disaster plans and emergency codes and procedures according to clinical office procedure.

9. Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence.

WORK EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

2+ years of managerial experience is preferred.

Associates Degree is preferred.

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistance program or certification preferred

SKILLS/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Skills in establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with staff and patients, and the ability to work independently.
This position may require lifting 50 plus pounds.
