I opened my first Norma Sherry Spa in 1988! Coincidentally, the first of its kind in Northeast Florida! It was a masterful success, and I loved every moment of it. in 1998 I took a hiatus for several years and then after Philip’s passing in 2011, I reestablished Norma Sherry.
It was a glorious reinvention colored in violet on Ponce de Leon Boulevard and there we remained for 10 years! On July 3, 2024 as we were packing up to move, lock, stock and barrel the spa was sold. Little did I know the individual that bought the business has yet to reopen its doors.
It delights me to see how many of you have fond memories and still leave posts of their pleasurable experiences. However, the Norma Sherry that you once knew is no longer. The spa that is, I’m still here lol!
I’m taking this moment to wish all of you a wonderful holiday season be it Christmas, Chanukah, or Kwanzaa.
