Not every lip is shaped the same, and M-shaped lips require a different approach to filler. 💋

M-shaped lips have natural dips in the upper lip that can create less visible pink show through certain areas. Because of that anatomy, simply adding volume isn't necessarily going to create the most balanced result.

For this before + after, Tara used a half syringe of Restylane® Kysse along with a technique often referred to as the “lollipop technique.” Small, strategic deposits of filler were placed through the dips of the upper lip to help soften the M-shape and create a smoother, more balanced lip line.

By supporting those areas, the upper lip can turn outward slightly, creating more visible pink show and additional height while still working with the patient's natural anatomy.

The result? A softer, more balanced shape with beautiful, natural-looking volume.
