We are excited to announce Liz as a new therapist to our Staff. Liz is a certified Rolfer, Licensed Massage therapist, and certified cupping therapist.

For those of you unfamiliar with Rolfing:

ROLFING:

Rolfing Structural Integration is a form of soft tissue manipulation and movement education therapy that helps the body move with more fluidity and grace. It works on the fascia, or connective tissue, throughout the body. Originally designed as a series of ten sessions, Rolfing SI looks at the body as a whole and works to improve relationships between the different functioning parts.

Often, the work is aimed at creating more space throughout the body, as living a modern life tends to compress our bodies. Rolfing Structural Integration tailors its approach to each individual, optimizing movement and fostering the highest level of physical integration.

Currently, Liz will be working Wednesdays and Sundays. So we will have a therapist on staff seven days a week.

Our friend and colleague Dr. Rob Gregory of Longevity Health and Fitness underwent a successful triple bypass surgery on Sept. 25. Quite a shocking occurrence for him and his family.

He has missed work and will take some time to ramp up again. He is progressing well, but nothing heavy-duty for a while.

A group of local healthcare providers have started a GoFundMe for Rob. We will all be donating massages and personal training sessions for the top six donors.

As business owners, we understand the financial stress of not being able to earn a living. At the same time, expenses need to be paid.

A warm welcome our new therapist, Kim, to our Medical Massage team.

She will be starting Monday, March 20.

Kim graduated from Cortiva Institute in 2006 and has been a licensed massage therapist since 2007. She has always enjoyed being of service to the community and result based massage has been the perfect career.

Being an athlete herself, Kim has a great understanding of the body and its movements, thus specializing in sports massage and replacement surgery rehab. She is also proficient in Swedish/relaxation, trigger point therapy and myofascial release.

Kim holds certifications in Oncology massage, cupping and kinesio taping as well. Each massage is customized to the client's individual needs to progress to physical results and no injury, pain or discomfort is too small.

Every body deserves a massage.

Kim will join Mike, Jaimi Lynn and Nita at our very busy clinic. She will be a great addition to our highly trained staff.
