🚨 URGENT: OUR SWIM SCHOOL & NON PROFIT FOR UNDERPRIVILEGED KIDS IS BEING FORCED OUT 🚨
After providing 1,000s of children survival swim lessons to the children of our community, we’ve recently been told we’re being pushed out from our facility. Why? New landlords — out-of-state investors — say they “don’t want a pool in the warehouse,” and have hiked the rent so high we can’t stay. We’re currently on a month to month basis until they make us go.
We can’t just move and we have searched high and low for property that is affordable to make this mission possible. Florida’s state health department requires a lengthy approval process to open a new swim facility. That’s a meaningful time without lifesaving swim lessons for kids who need them most with tons of outgoing funds.
We need to build a home of our own — one where no landlord can uproot us again. We’re fighting for the future of thousands of local children.
